It’s your time. Be wild.
Hey beautiful, I want you to do something that's wildly satisfying, special, sensual, silly or spontaneous.
Take the time to make memories, create fun, and send-off this strange year with a moment (or more) that'll light you up.
Strangely, Santa lit a spark for me this year!
To explain, we don't have a Santa photo tradition in our family.
When I was a child, the only Santa photo I had was when I inadvertently crashed my best friend's photo with her brother.
And then I got a casual job at Myer as Santa's helper through my uni years - too many memories of children being corralled onto Santa's lap to contemplate doing it with my babies!
But this year I saw our local shops had organised Santa photos with all money raised going to charity, tasteful props that weren't promoting a shopping centre, and no need to interact with or sit on Santa!
This was my kinda Santa snap!
Mila and Luca thought it was a little odd that one Saturday I coaxed them out of the house to queue up with toddlers, be entertained by a balloon bending ‘elf’ and sit, socially distanced on a valour throne for a cheesy photo.
It was surprisingly fun and a memorable time for all of us.
Simple. Meaningful. Out of the ordinary.
So what could you do that's mildly or majorly unpredictable, spicy or radical before the year is complete?
I'd love to hear what you try or take on!
While I hope you sprinkle special moments through your holiday break, I'll be taking some time away from the screen and won't write again until mid-January.
I'll return in the new year refreshed and ready to share new ‘Shine Love & Light On’ podcast episodes, a revamped ‘Create Your Wild Power’ series, Wild events and retreats, and plenty of opportunities for you to be Wild.
Thank you so much for joining me to Discover Your Wild this year. I'm excited to see what'll unfold and emerge as we continue to peel back the layers. I feel so blessed and grateful you're here walking this path with me.
